Why is this band music scaring me

Huddle, Sisson, Taylor!
Hall fades to 5th. Bruce in 4th.
I got first and second right in my pick.

I'm not American so not familiar with your system but would a top-3 in Nats followed by a Q standard before the 6th of September deadline get you on the plane? Or is this it and it does not matter what you do after Nats whether you place in the top 3 or not?
Yes, although in the 10,000 they may not have another chance to get it. In shorter races, you may have a chance.
USATF is not letting anyone chase standards after nationals this year
Pretty ironic that Hall only technically has the standard because the iaaf recognizes her as good enough after NACAC, yet she lost to Taylor by almost 12 seconds in this race (who doesn’t have the standard). Taylor deserves to go to worlds. She only barely got outkicked by Sisson in the last 100 too.

Pointless it's totally rigged.
Men's 10k is actually off to a quick start, 2:09 800 for leaders
Huddle ran her last 5k in what 15:20?? Under the Worlds 5k standard, throw her in the US 5k Champs on Sunday. Would she win?
Bruce with a sub 60 second lap... looks like some high speed shuffling up front in the first mile
Men starting off quicker than I expected. Back to back 1:04’s.
Ah, 1:07 3rd lap. Let’s see where it goes for next mile...figure a tactical race first 5k.
Men's 10k, next or tomorrow?
T.M.A.D.D.D.H.A.S.F.N.E.
Going now. The four with the standard 1-4 currently.

Back down to 65, I don't know. World standard is 4:27 pace
Tomorrow. Good night.

Maybe some strategy since 4 guys have the standard & Lomong has never really been in a fast 10k?
I just following the live results, I assumed this was a miss time. Did Bruce really run a 59 then follow up with a 77?

depends on how tactical it gets
~ 4:24 @ the mile, 5:30 @ 2 km for all
They could be testing Lomong. That’s a good point!
