Haven’t posted in a while, so great to be back.
After a tough track season where I burned out hard, I’m still dealing with the fallout of overtraining and not taking time off... mainly, a reappearance of my Posterior Tibial Tendonitis.
Because of this, I’m limited to 20-30 mpw while I work on the tendon itself, and I’ve been sentenced to doubling in the gym.
I’ve spent significant time on a number of different cross trainers, and I find it hard to believe any is better than the ARC. Rowing gets heart rate higher, but it isn’t specific at all.
The ARC trainer seems semi-specific, works the legs and flexors. gets heart rate up, allows for a stride rate of up to 190, etc.
Opinions?
