Since I am injured and taking time off from running for the next few weeks, what are some good cross training workouts, specifically for the arc trainer?
I’m using the arc trainer because it allows my heart rate to get up and mimic the running motion the best.
Right now, I and doing all easy-effort work on the arc trainer, with one longer day to simulate a long run.
What are some good arc trainer workouts that will target the threshold or vo2max (I don’t know if this can be done on the machine)? Mainly just workouts to keep me in good shape.
The reason I need to stay in shape is because outdoor season is approaching, and I need to be ready to race within the next few weeks (just regular meets, state isn’t until May).
