Brazier and Murphy doubling? With worlds being so late, they've obviously got plenty of time to recover. But could this backfire like 2017 for Murphy?
Devin Dixon Scratched. Obviously I've only looked at mid D events so bring up other interesting entries!
Why are so few accepted entries so far?
Discuss.
2019 USATF Outdoor Entries/Robby Andrews and Eric Jenkins Definitely Are Out of USAs; Evan Jager May Be As Well

Are they still waiting for the guys that qualified but have not declared or scratched to decide before they fill out the fields? Only 14 qualified and declared in the men's 10,000.

Might be because the qualifying doesn't end until Sunday the 21st? -
Jager is not entered (thought LRC reported he was ready to chase another title)
Mu has declared - will she break 2 at last? -
I'm shocked that Robby isn't fully back to health.

Sports are defined by injuries.

FYI, re: Brazier/Murphy: Murphy's agent Paul Doyle told me right now he's still undecided between the 800 and 1500 but that it is unlikely he will do both at USAs.
I would put Brazier's chances of actually running the 1500 at USAs at almost zero since he hates the 1500. I assume it's just a contingency plan unless disaster strikes in the 800 prelims. But I have no inside info on that one. -
Wonder how much Adidas pays Andrews and if he’ll survive the cuts post Olympics.
-
Shelby Houlihan accepted, but not declared, for both the 1500 and 5000? Does that mean she's still deciding which to run, or could it suggest an injury problem?
-
Did Jager troll Letsrun? Well done if so.
-
Update: I've confirmed with a source close to Jager that he will not be racing at USAs.

Have to think it is the beginning of the end for Robby Andrews. Jager is still a factor but his best days are past . I see him making the Olympics next year and around 10th but looks like he never will get that sub 8.

She is definitely still deciding. Kate Grace is also accepted but not declared for both the 800 and 1500. Most likely Shelby will declare for both but only run the 5k if she either loses the 1500 (She wants to defend her title) or doesn't make the team (highly unlikely) . the 5k is a safety. Jenny Simpson has done the same (declared in both the 1500 and 5k, and will most likely only run 5k if she doesn't make the 1500 team, again very unlikely but rather be safe then sorry).
Kate Grace on the other hand has a bit of a tougher decision to make. She did run her fastest 800 time (since 2016, they year she won the US trials in the event) and beat Houlihan at the sun meet. No way she will run both 800 and 1500 but makes you wonder how much faster can she get in the 800 as she has touched much speed in her training yet and the 1500 background gives her lots of strength to handle the 800 rounds. -

this was huge shock to me that Purrier scratched the 1500. she ran a huge pr of 4:02 a while back at the Rome DL. Although she did run a huge 15:08 5k pr at Adrian Martinez classic with no competition to push her she is certainly a sub 4 caliber 1500 runner. I thought shed run the 1500 and only run the 5k if she didn't make the 1500 team. Although good in both events I see her similar to Houlihan with a better ability to be in the 1500. -
Where is Sean McGorty?

Pretty sure Jenkins will be going for the 10k, he is in the Ethiopian trials this week. There is no reason for him to scratch with the standard.
