Who you got?
I think Filip takes this in 3:48 with Kerr a second behind.

The key to a fast time is having someone go with the pacers and then lead up through the bell. Which of these guys will do that? If someone takes it on, then a fast time is likely. Of those guys, maybe Tefera would do it. I hope they do run fast, but this race isn't usually fast.
Gotta go for the Irishman O'Hare! ?

No way. More like 3:55-ish. You'll not see anything close to sun 3:50 run in the ECM.

Loaded? This is like a freshman/sophomore race.

Wha? Grice, Filip, & Tefera - three of the top 7 in the world. Are you high?

Don't try to understand letsrun logic. It's typically blanket statements made based on poor knowledge of any number of subjects.

"three of the top 7 in the world" at the present time. Looks a bit different now it's in context.
The ECM is loaded with blanks.
https://www.iaaf.org/records/all-time-toplists/middlelong/one-mile/outdoor/men/seniorI am hoping for a sub-3:53.1 for Amos Bartelsmeyer.
how the hell did the mile actually come back? Get rid of it again.
An Ingebrigtsen might have gone sub 3:30 by now if it not for all the cheesy mile business this season. Aren't their fans hoping for a 3:29?
FI in 3:51. Definitely not a race I would call "loaded". The Bowerman mile was loaded.
Filip's 3:30 equates to a mid 3:46 mile. He is in near top shape now, if he wanted to he could go as low as 3:45 for 4th all time.

Compared to fields in Monaco, Lausanne, Doha and Standford, this is a very weak field. This is absolutely no debating that.
As for these guys...
Grice - one solid race one the world's fastest track. Didn't do any work, just followed Mr. Potato.
Filip - old news. Constantly 3rd-5th, losing to his younger brother. yawn.
Tefera - solid, but, not in his indoor shape.
Kerr - most exciting person in this race.
With no Tim pacing the field, this race will be slow and pointless.
Side note - is Grice even in this race? Not on the start list. Might make this race even less stacked than before...
What a pity that Grice is not racing.

I think he has switched to the 800m.

Without Grice now, the race may be the equivalent to Doha now. How do you justify the lineup in Doha being so much better? Grice is hot right now, E. Manangoi is running with a flat tire.
Doha?
Mr. Potato - We'll let him have his #1 position
E. Manangoi - great 2 months ago..now done
Bethwell - just ok...yawn....gets beat by Grice, Filip, Tefera, would likely get beat by Kerr and O'hare. Same level as Wightman
Kibet - just ok...yawn....gets beat by Grice, Filip, Tefera, would likely get beat by Kerr and O'hare. Same level as Wightman
Simotwo - just ok...yawn....gets beat by Grice, Filip, Tefera, would likely get beat by Kerr and O'hare. Same level as Wightman
G. Managoi - just ok...yawn....gets beat by Grice, Filip, Tefera, would likely get beat by Kerr and O'hare. Same level as Wightman
Kwemoi - just ok...yawn....gets beat by Grice, Filip, Tefera, would likely get beat by Kerr and O'hare. Same level as Wightman
The race will likely end being faster than Doha. Was that slow and pointless?

In your face! 3:49 mid. Fastest mile of the year and converts to a faster race than Doha.
Top 2 are international talents - everyone else not so much. Fast race, but not loaded by any means. That’s unarguable.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
