Alright I'm SICK of people telling me how skinny I am. When I respond with how many push ups I can do, they just scoff and walk away, either not believing me, or thinking that pitching a baseball 60mph or benching 90 percent of their bodyweight is more impressive.
So let's settle it Letsrun...let's show those unathletic cretins that us runners are not just twigs but we can hold our own!
Please post your age, PR's and push up record!
I'll start:
16 years old
4:46/10:18 (1600 and 3200)
50 consecutive push ups
For every push, do a pull, vice versa. To get a solid effort from push/pull ups, one could argue it's more beneficial to do more sets with less reps. When you're going 20+ reps for a set, form is usually breaking down, and you're not really building strength at that point, possibly risking injury.
