Prolly would of flirted with a sub 4 1500 but never raced. I was base building getting ready for frosh XC season(40mpw)and used to do 6x800m reps at CV pace(2:40s down to 2:30s).

7:3x at age 13 to 4:5x at age 15. Get your 400m and 800m times down while you're a teenager. Most elite 1500m runners were 800m runners as teenagers. If you're 13 and your 400m PB is slower than 70 seconds, get your 400m time down ASAP.
5:45 1600 on like 5 mpw as a 7th grader and improved to 4:18/9:19 as a senior. Now I’m a DI signee.
Progression: 7th 5:45, 8th 5:28 (injured), 9th 4:45, 10th 4:40 (only ran it a couple times), 11th 4:25, 12th 4:18
4:45 or so. I was a top three middle school runner in the state, but don't think that would be quite national caliber.

It was 8:23 I remember it so vividly just dying on the track after 4 laps.
I now run a 4:43 mile as a sophmore (anything’s possible kids) ?
5:14 in 7th grade(12 years old)
5:02 in 8th grade(13 years old)
4:35 in 9th grade(14 years old)
4:34 in 10th grade(15 years old)
4:34 in 11th grade(16 years old)
Junior year isn't over yet and I have tied my PR twice after a double
At 13 I ran a 5:56 mile on a gravel track. At 19 I ran 4:01 for 1500m on a 125m indoor track. Never faster.
