Ahmed is the only one on that list with the potential to win a world or Olympic medal.
Cragg and Frazier pulled out of the 10k.
Ryan Hill is also injured and pulled out of the 5k.
Centro is still injured.
Quigley is hurt again.
Where is Kate Grace?

Time to bring in the real JS ! His runners are seldom injured. One of his top runners have been injury free four years and still runs his brand the 20 by 400s almost every week.
Anyone know the status of Bumbalough? Only crickets from him since that steller Boston last year.
What about Jager? Derrick post-injury? Hill?

Being that emaciated is not healthy; being that emaciated while training with intensity, doubly so.
However, it's a numbers game. Runners in an emaciated state increase their odds of injury (they're almost certainly compromising their general health and longevity, but that's par for the course), but this may be what is necessary for them to have a chance at being competitive. It's the old "throw 'em against the wall and see what sticks" filter when you have a large pool of candidates like Schumacher's training group.
Kind of sad, really. Stay in school kids.
Spoken like a true clueless idiot.
