Nope. All we have to do is compare BTC to the other Nike pro group -- the much-dissed NOP. Say what you will about Salazar, but he does not leave injury prevention/detection up to the individual athlete like Schumacher does. NOP athletes do get injured --all pro runners by necessity must push themselves close to their physical limits--but with nowhere near the frequency and severity of the Bowerman athletes. I don't believe there's ever been an NOP athlete that's suffered a career-ending injury. It could well be that Salazar's more tailored training program helps prevent injuries more than Schumacher's more one-size-fits-all program.
