He may be cheating but he is certainly not an idiot.

Um... IF one is intentionally cheating, they are an idiot. The two are not mutually exclusive.
Also, if using the metric outlined in this thread's premiss (injuries to multiple elite athletes at the same time means coach is an idiot)... Salazar is an idiot (using that premiss). That said, the premiss behind this thread is equally idiotic.
Whew...

Tinmen dont get injured.. just saying
I've heard rumblings that Houlihan is hurt, too.
Chris Derrick has been a complete disappointment as a professional. His teammate Andrew Bumbalough, he can't still have a Nike contract? If he does I hope it's just for product! Now Matthew Centrowitz is part of that no pressure to perform BTC too. Just look at Cento's Instagram posts, they are unbelievably sophomoric and immature. Not something you'd expect from a professional runner
Olympic GOLD medalist but from some college frat boy. You could go on and on and on with Jerry Schumacher's Bowerman Track Club Elite. But we like Jerry Schumacher though and loathe Alberto Salazar how ironic. Oh, that's right Salazar is STILL under investigation. How's that going David Epstein, Kara Goucher and Steve Magness?
Is Gwen the only healthy marathoner Jerry's got now?

Yes they do... One significant example,
Pretty sure Drew Hunter said he was injured for a significant amount of time prior to indoor nationals ... unable to train the full cycle, and that's why he was in the B-final.

Hunter was injured last year. Not sure if he has raced yet this year?

Idiot? Oh ok.
There’s an Instagram post today and there’s 9 guys in their group doing a track workout including Ryan Hill and Lopez Lomong. That’s a pretty big group of healthy folks. They also had a group of around 10 guys doing a progressive long run on Sauvie Island 10 days ago and Jager was part of that. I think Jerry takes every precaution and has them do a lot of cross training to stay healthy. When you’re training at that high of a level for as long as these people have you’re bound to eventually get injured. Hope to see everyone healthy for the World Championships later this year.

In a time that would have been middle-of-the-road in the DI 3K? Great.
What??? So a corporation is magically coaching these runners now? Jerry and Salazar have all of Nike's resources so if anything, the injury rate should be lower since the group is based out of Portland.
Centro had hardly been injured til 2017 and he had an illness in conjunction with his hamstring problems. He got back to decent health in 2018 winning USA's and running 3:31. Centro was banged up late 2018, but he's back running now and should be fine for worlds unless he gets injured again.
Hasay, had a small injury in 2016, but when you're an elite marathoner runner who runs 90-110 miles a week and you get a stress fracture, that's A LOT more severe compared to a 1500m runner. She can back just fine.
Don't even get me started with Rupp. The amount of consistency this man has had since Salazar took over his training sophomore year is ridiculous. Not to mentioned how hard Salazar pushes him in training, him and Farah and Farah never got injured. This is the first major injury that Rupp has ever had.
NOP's overall injury rate, even by percentage, is much lower than BTC's.
You couldn't have missed the point of my post any further... but ok (lol).

That would have been funny, even ironic, but premiss is an alternate spelling for premise... thanks.
