He split 3:49 at 1600m
That is two 2:22 1000's back to back.

So that is 57.12 for each of the five 400s
Not a bad one, but can't compare to his mile record

Morrocan magic? ?........?
Of course that is blazing fast, but not as good as his Mile record, or Komen's 3000m / 2 miles.
The 2000m is barely run, otherwise the record would be lower by like 2 seconds.
Noah Ngeny, Komen and Lagat could have challenged the 4:44 mark.
Mo Farah we can never be sure, but at his prime w/ his 3:28 1500m shape he could have a shot as well.
Will probably be the first of El G's records that Jakob decides to take.
Bekele has the indoor WR for 2000m which I'm proud of.
Not even Bekele is proud of that record. Who cares about the 2000?
I feel like his mile could have been a bit quicker. 3:26.00 is worth like 3:41-3:42.

This is correct. In his WR mile, he comes through 1500 in 3:28.21. His 1500m WR is his best performance by far.
Komen's 3000m WR is the strongest WR among the 1500-10,000m. It will take a superstar to bring that down. Kejelcha may have the potential.
Agreed Komen's indoor/outdoor WRs are very strong and will not be broken for a long time.

He now holds the Staying Indoors on the Couch world record. This is why he’s so fat these days
One never ceases to marvel at the benefits of modern pharmaceuticals.
Of course it is untouchable, that is what happens when you're sauced and the event is never run.

You are like a broken record.
I don't think that's untouchable at all. Could see Tim Cheruiyot or even Yomif Kejelcha potentially challenging it down the line. A strength-based runner who can run 3:27 should be able to scare it. Not sure if Kejelcha can quite get there speed-wise, but Cheruiyot I think could come through in 3:31 and drop a 54/55 at top form. If he progresses he might be able to come through in 3:29-3:30 and kick off of it.

No, more like 3:43.0. His1500m time is slightly better, but we are talking about tenths of a second, not seconds.
I am not thinking of this very scientifically, but to me running 56.96 for 5 laps seems as hard or harder than running 55.5 for 4 laps., which is roughly his mile pace.
You'll never believe who I bumped into in Central Park on Tuesday morning (pic)
