Bring back Indiana Invaders! I’m a sub-sub elite post collegiate and I need some meets to run at in that area of the country.

Can a male 2:00 800 guy run in the development races? I'm not elite but would still love to race.
Heck yes!
Right now, I plan to offer multiple sections of developmental races (which will feature generous entry standards) to afford competitive minded athletes an opportunity to compete

Thanks! Any plans to offer the mile in place of / in addition to the 1500 on one or more days?
Not much time to recover and run in 2 or all 3 of the meets. But if the dates are fixed, maybe move the longer races laster), so e.g. one could run a 15, 5, or steeple (or two) and come back in the 10k on 7/7.

Good point, I hear you. However, can't lose sight of the fact that the intent of this tour is to offer one quality shot in each event to lay down a world class time.
Our target audience is the professional runner/team. But I am honored to create and offer sub-elites a high-quality opportunity as well.
This format accommodates pro coaches so they can focus on coaching 1 or 2 events/athletes per night in their camps.

Good suggestion! Thank you.
Will consider running a 1 Mile on 7/5 - could be fun! | jm

As a former sub-sub-elite post-collegiate guy, I would **LOVE** to see the Indiana Invaders brought back, those were great!
Quick favor: Can you kindly restart them? I'm already pre-committed to this thing in LA this summer... ;-) | jm

Count me in as a spectator. I'd suggest Saturday and Sunday instead of Friday. Fans like me who have a multi hour drive can't make it on Friday. It would be good to have a couple of masters events with time standards as well.
Perhaps helicopter in? | jm
I am too poor to afford a helo ride. On a more serious note, you could contact Rabbit RC and Joe Rubio (Hoka Aggies) about rabbits.

I wasn’t completely honest. I’m currently in school, but graduating soon. This was a preemptive attempt at trying to get someone with experience to host semi-competitive meets in my area so I can still compete at a less than competitive level while I work full time.
Tempting....but I'll past. I'll just pretend everyone is saying only very nice things. Flattered my tweets have their own thread btw! | jm

Drat. Please consider hosting meets in the future! The track world needs more young, passionate meet directors! | jm

Got it. Thanks. Will make you a deal - You work on making more $ to afford a helo ride and I'll reach out to RRC and Hoka Aggies re: pacemakers. Thanks so much for the tip! | jm

Smart move getting this done before bowerman camp and potentially missing out on their athletes that won’t be in Europe and working the camp.
I see your point too. I was just thinking that with the tougher Oly standards, even the pros may need a couple shots at it. Anyway, thanks very much for your work here and elsewhere.

Bump, is this still a thing? Any chance there will be an open race for 14:30 to 15 min 5K guys?
Just saw this thread. I’d be willing to help out.
