Welcome to the Netherlands,
Where one week the sun shines and it almost feels like summer and the next week you get hurricane like winds that fly a tiny runner from one side of the country to the other...
So! April 7th I run the Rotterdam marathon and as a tune up race I was supposed to run a fast half marathon in The Hague last sunday which, due to extreme wheater, got cancelled last minute. I was in excellent shape, did a little taper last week, and it was my big test to see if I made some big improvements during my heavy training. I also was planning to use it as a test and break in race for my new Vaporfly's.
So now I am still confused about what to do. This week is the heaviest week of my schedule distance wise so no race this weekend. Next weekend (two week before my marathon) there is a 10K and a half marathon, and a week before the marathon there is a fast 10K near where I live.
Any tips for which race to pick? I run around 100-120KM's a week and aiming for a sub 2:45ish time.
