Number of underware

You should wash clothes more frequently and have less underwear. The idea that you have a laundry pile that has one month old underwear at the bottom of it is revolting. Two weeks’ worth is plenty.

I have about 20 but some are getting holes quickly. 36 is fine. The only thing is they will wear at the same rate. If you have fewer and then replenish a few on a regular basis then you can have more fresher ones.

I run twice daily every day and I wear different underwear everytime. Also the everyday underwear I change between runs and sleep also. So I use 5 pairs of underwear each day. I wash my underwear once every 4 months. So I wash 600 pairs of underwear every 4 months. But just in case someone steals some, I have 1000 pairs of underwear. I think this is the optimal number.
