What a crazzzy lineup - sub 3:30 JI for the win.
I’m going to guess Fil wins in a non-WR time.
Don’t forget to mention German National Champ Sam Parsons!
I like Tefera. He is not afraid to run against competition.
Kejelcha, Filip, Jakob, Lewindowski, Birgen... he will have gone against 100% of the top 15 indoor runners this indoor season.

Hope Tefera goes with Som; but he likely will not. I think in that scenario, youre correct in picking Filip I. for the win.
I predict that Jakob breaks the WJR.
Predictions:
1. Filip (new indoor PR sub 3:33)
2. Tefera
3. Jakob (new WJR sub 3:34)
jakob posted a streaming link -- does not appear to be geoblocked for me.
Thanks for the live stream link. Anyone know what time the 1500 is scheduled to start?

Seems to be geo-blocked here in Norway, even if the IAAF says the stream should be available in "just about every country of the planet"....

I do not watch or really keep up with the Ingebrigtsen guys since I mainly watch US Runners or people who train here lol. But Am I missing something about Filip? Does he win races he shouldn't win? I would think everyone would pick the New world record holder to win but no one is.

Geo-blocked in Germany, too. Sad!

Certainly Tefera could win, but I don’t think he will be at his best in a race a few days after setting the World Record, and Filip is no slouch as a World Championships bronze medalist.
I think there are several in the field that could potentially win. Something uncommon during indoors, and exciting.

The main reason for this is the “Great White Hope” effect. It is reasonable to say that the Ingibrigies could potentially win, because they are good, and nobody knows what condition everybody will be showing up in. But those guys are heavily favored here because they are white-especially Jakob, who is really, REALLY lauded as the Great White Hope to beat the Africans.
I think we will see a great race. I expect to see Jakob behind the pacer, and then Filip followed by Tefera, and Jakob to hold a pretty decent speed when the pacer rolls off. Then: what happens at 1200m?

More like the Great Clean Hope to beat the EPO age cheats.
The question is who will follow the pacer. The next guy will have to set the pace for Tefera to draft off of him and kick.
Now if Kejelcha was in this race, it would likely be another fast one because he knows he can't win in a kick against Tefera in a 1500m. Tefera is the obvious favorite and six seconds clear of Jakob so far. Filip should be second, Jakob third in a big junior record of 3:33. I guess Tefera about half a second ahead of Filip.
Since Jakob and Filip are brothers and teammates I hardly believe they would let Tefera position himself between them. I think they will force Tefera to go out wide in the final turns. Jakob will be happy with a good time simply to secure a longlasting WJR. Filip might have his eyes set on the WR.
