I'll start with this one:
Such a profound observation about observations.
This guy is pure genius
He's like the Michael Scott of coaches
I particularly like how he talks about coaching a champion... dude, all you do is coach champions... on Twitter...

Did he steal your wife or girlfriend? Honestly, who cares? I've never heard of the guy.
JMAR = MASTER
But where do the HPW polymaths fall on this spectrum?
I love his stuff. He’s a unique voice and my perspective and running are both better for tuning in.

He had me at 'wilst'
I really do not have a problem with jmar and/or steve magness except that they talk and preach like they are the ultimate mentors, ask them anything and they will share anything and everything they know. I cannot count how many times I actually have reached out asking specific questions and in response... crickets.
I actually wouldn't care if they never answered, I am sure both have a lot going on. But please do not inflate the people you are by claiming you are the most giving two people T&F has ever seen. I was looking for a mentor and had legitimate questions over the course of years that all just got ignored.
This is a retweet but I’ll still nominate it for enshrinement here. What a novel thought from Magness and Marcus!
When you try to use big words but can't write a grammatically correct sentence:
These are platitudes, which is about as good as you can expect on social media. Much as he gets slighted on here, Ben Rosario coaches circles around guys like JMar Superstar. Shut the pious tweets, go effing do something.
He's the prototypical Portland coach. Much like Brad Hudson was the prototypical Boulder coach. Tracklandia needs to spoof him.

Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.

Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
