So, you're saying that Usain Bolt is pretty fast? Now there's a revelation!

If a rejected soccer guy can set an NFL record think how fast the soccer guys who made it are.
Soccer guys are faster than NFL guys -
I forget his name, Stanley or something who ran for the University of Houston. He ran like a 3.87, if I recall, but it was on a track and he had spikes on. He used to hold the 50-meter record.

Obviously sprinters are faster but to tie the record on a whim, wearing sneakers, after he's retired is pretty crazy. Especially given he has a notoriously 'weak' start.

can the soccer pansies or Bolt take a hit ? -
It also looks like he had to decelerate before he hit the line to avoid breaking himself on the top-close padding after the line.

So, what was Bolt's 40 yards in his 9.58? I'm that info is out there somewhere.

I agree, they did not have enough room past the finish.
4.09 if he took it seriously. -

Starts aren't a factor in timed American Football 40s. The runner gets a RUNNING start and the timing device starts when the runner passes the start line. So not really comparable to track times. -

WTF? No they don't. Of course starts matter. -

No they don't get a running start. The clock just starts when they start running which means they don't have a reaction time. Bolt's weak start isn't his reaction time, it's that he doesn't explode out of the blocks as fast as better starters and takes longer to get up to speed. -

You don't know diddley.

Total myth bolt doesnt have great start. He is fastest ever at every aspect of race. Im impressed he's still got it.
