We had 30 minutes with Houlihan in our podcast.
She talked about 2018, 2019, raising the bar for US 5000m runners and Jerry Schumacher's high standards.

Curious if you all would want also like us to pull athlete interviews out as a separate podcast or if you like having everything together as one. We could conceivably publish the whole podcast with our commentary and Houlihan and then also just have Houlihan separate.
Shelby Houlihan is running 10k cross this weekend and we've got a podcast with her to celebrate

if the commentary is about Houlihan/XC, leave it as one podcast. If the rest of it gets off track, keep them separate.

Leave it as one podcast. In the text, include a heads up time stamps as to when certain topics are reached (like you’ve been doing).
Most people are pretty podcast savvy and zoom to the meat they want if they don’t have time for the LP.
And post it on a podbean or mediafire.com mp3 direct download option aswell. Apple podcasts are over rated and annoying. -
Leave it as one podcast. Any time that you guys do an interview with an athlete you should ask them more about their training. I miss the old training talk podcasts that lets run used to do!

Podcast currently won’t play on my iPhone or laptop (??)

Listening to the podcast now. How is it possible that she did so little mileage in college? Did I hear that right, 15mpw?? She holds her school records (ASU) in the 800, 1500, mile, and the 3000 -- and she won the 1500 at NCAAs -- all that off of 15mpw??

Podcast way too long.

my gawd that meet was awesome
(and Huddle 2 feet off the ground in the background, dang)

Not too long at all. Lots of podcasts run 2 hours if it’s a weekly occurrence.
And she said ran 60mpw in college.
And a .56 HS 400m is smokin. -
I'm digging the podcast. It's a good mix of insight and irreverence. I expect production quality will improve over time, but it's already a vast improvement over previous iterations. I disagree that it was too long. I listened to the Houlihan episode while doing tempo intervals by headlamp on a frozen bike path in upstate NY today, and it was good company the whole way.
Also, rojo is an absolute hoot. He cracks me up. -

You've heard of talent? -

Oh, I must have heard 16 instead of 60... -

Glad you find Rojo amusing. We want to entertain. If you like it please leave a review on Itunes or wherever you listen.
We hope to obviously keep getting better. We have much better audio quality than in the past and level some of the audio as well.
Trying to incorporate a little user audio and interviews. Need to tighten up the shows but Joe Rogan and others talk for ages.
If it was a daily deal we'd need to keep it 30 miutes but it's weekly. -
More interviews like this! wrote:

I'm not familiar with podbean but you can direct download it from soundcloud.
