Pappas’s new movie “Olympic Dreams” is going to be playing at SXSW in Austin. She’s playing a cross country skier this time.

hope it's better than the last one
I love the article starts out "Greek runner Alexi Pappas....."
lol....um no.
if she's serious about movies she needs to stop casting herself.
I think she's more serious about herself though....
Lets hope it is better than her other efforts that were no better than what you will see by a 9th grader as an english class project
In other news, my movie will be premiering on LR this Summer. Stay tuned.

It’s not like she set the bar very high with Tracktown.
I would’ve thought her movie would premiere in Athens, not Austin.
the real title of the new movie should be How to Play the System

Didn't it get quite reasonable reviews?

Actually she broke the Greek record to make their team then broke it again at the Olympics.
For the record, how many national records do you hold?

Or better yet, πώς να παίξετε το σύστημα
Yes, I google translated it.

Anguilla doesn’t have a marathon national record. I’m applying for citizenship there as we speak. Looks like I can walk my way to a national record there.

Here are some reviews from Rotten Tomatoes:
“I wished Pappas had tapped deeper into the dark side she hints at - the side that makes her protagonist more concerned about being a winner than about being a person.” - Craig D. Lindsey
“Tracktown is a cutesy, generic, unfunny indie film, with an overgrown infant at its centre, and only the most surface-level interest in any of its other characters or themes.” - Chloe Walker
“The movie plot was terrible. The acting was the worst I've seen in any "film" outside of high school productions. It was like a really bad high school film.” -Mizza M.
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/tracktown_2017Watch any of video diary at the bottom. Wow.
My favorite bit was in episode 7, where she has just learned that distance running and XC skiing are not all that different. Since there is no possible way she has not known Dartmouth legend Ben True for over 10 years (and others that doubled in those sports at Dartmouth), I don't know what to make of that impressive observation.
This, Academy Award level film, is the standard by which all running features will be judged.
Why do people like her? She's a self obsessed attention whore
Practically stole the title from Rono. Just made it plural.

The reviewer must not have seen Megapython VS Gateroid starring Tiffany and Debbie Gibson.
