"Bowie says she and former teammate and Olympic champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo were involved in a physical altercation that developed from a disagreement the two sprinters had during a training session.
Although Bowie said the dispute resulted in her bleeding from the head, she said she did not feel adequately supported by her management team afterwards. "

What kind of dispute during training would lead to a physical fight?
-
Yikes! Must be all of the testosterone

Why did you call it a catfight? Is it because this is a male website and that's what you choose to call two women who fight instead of just saying two women were fighting?

Yep, basic misogyny. Welcome to Letsrun.

Ladies? Really? Now they take it to a public forum. Instead of making the most of their careers, that are usually short lived, they conduct themselves in this manner? I thought they were adult athletes, setting an example.

I believe one young lady must have disrespected the other young lady.

You need to learn to accept people who are different than you instead of bullying them to share your views on the world. -

Is that not the dictionary definition of a catfight? -

I dunno maybe they want to see people treated equally & talked about in the same way. It’s 2019. This chatter is outdated. Two men are fighting and two women doing the same and it’s a cat fight. Please. We can all do a better job trying to use better language. Add into the equation how toxic this place is on race and gender and there’s a clear pattern for showing male bias. -

Pics, people PICS!

They must have got into an argument about stats published on Letsrun. It's the only thing that would matter that much, to come to blows.

If it is any consolation, Millennial Soyboyz fighting is now designated a catfight as well, so equality is well on the way. -

Two people fighting is toxic.
Calling it a catfight is not toxic. It is a neutral label.
