I was able to load into Excel For Mac v2011 and it seems to work fine there.
When loading Into Numbers '09, however, several error messages result (Listed below). It appears that Numbers is lacking many of the advanced features used in the spreadsheet.
Import Warning - Password protection on sheets isn’t supported and was removed.
Import Warning - Form controls such as checkboxes and scroll bars were removed.
Import Warning - Data validation isn’t supported and was removed. The cell values were retained.
Import Warning - Pop-up menus in cells weren’t imported. The cell values were retained.
Import Warning - Cells in a hidden column or row were unhidden to show merged cells.
Import Warning - Unsupported formulas in 56 cells were removed from Table 1 on “Daniels Tables.” The last calculated value was used.
Import Warning - Unsupported border styles were mapped to solid borders.
Import Warning - Unsupported number formatting on 8 cells was removed from Table 1 on “Daniels Tables.”
Import Warning - Hyperlinks within workbooks and hyperlinks to other files aren’t supported and were removed.
Import Warning - Unsupported conditional formatting on 134 cells was removed from Table 1 on “Daniels Tables.”
