Hi,
I am trying to run 1k under 2:30. Anyone have any suggestions or strategy and pacing for running a faster 1k.
I am more of a distance runner, I am doing about 60-90 miles per week with 1-3 tempo runs.
I have run the 1k few times last indoor season, but I have never been able to beat my pb.
I have tried even splitting and going all out in some races but never seemed to gain success.
My PBs are as follow: 400=52, 800=2:00, 1k=2:38, 1500=4:05, mile=4:25.
Anything will be appreciated!
