Kenyan EPO doper Kipyegon Bett (800m) hit with 4-year ban from Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU)

Reading the case material, it's clear that Kip wouldn't pay off this so-called "DCO" (acting alone by himself), and thus the "positive" EPO test and supposed "refusal to submit" allegations were invoked.

Just read #50, about the "very suspicious" DCO acting this way.

If Kip had wanted to "evade" the test, why even show up after the hour had passed? Just be like Mo with the doorbell. Unfortunately, Western media thinks Kenyans are "dumb", rather than honest.

Is the AIU involved because ADAK is so corrupt?

100% agree. Since EPO would not help a naturally tallented Kenyan anyway, the hoax is clear?

There have been a 1000 threads here where Rekrunner has proven that EPO doesn't work on elite Kenyans, and that anyone who thinks otherwise is committing a whole litany of logical fallacies.

Anyway, why would somebody like Bett cheat? Because he's Kenyan? All these doping busts coming out of Kenya prove is that all the Brits are juiced to the gills and Coe has ambitions to be the next colonial governor of Kenya in a post-Brexit restoration of the evil British Empire!

Bett was found guilty of testing positive for a banned substance and refusing to submit to a sample collection by the AIU.

Notice the heavy lawyer speak "found guilty of testing positive"... NOT found guilty of actually using a banned substance... with test results being easy to be bought and sold, and endemic problems and corruption with anti-doping testing in Kenya (among other places), WHY would anyone trust this "positive" result...

No. The IAAF created AIU to pretend some so-called independence, to deal with all doping cases. Of course their members got hand-picked by the IAAF, and the IAAF provides their data to AIU.

Which means that the IAAF corruption can continue as is.

Wow!...this is HUGE! An up & coming youngster who took the bronze at the prestigious WC last year! Winning a medal at the WC level is big time and prime time - Bett ain't no lower-tier trackster! Just can't believe it - such a promising youngster in the Kenyan system banned for using the sauce! Unbelievable!

My friends, this is mistake. EPO only works on white runners, not elite africans TRAINING AND LIVING AT HIGH ELEVATION. For them, there is NO benefit.

I could not get very far into that IAAF document, because at the beginning it says that Kipyegon Bett is a 30 year old middle distance runner. His IAAF profile says that he is 20. So, if he was an age cheater, as I am sure he was (he also looks a lot older than 20), then strip his other medals from World under 20 (gold, 800m), World under 18 (silver, 800m), as well as his silver from World Relays as a senior. He ran 1:52 in 2014 in Nairobi and 1:45 in 2015 in Nairobi at nominal ages of 16 and 17. Who knows his real age?

No one cares if he 'used it', only that the test is positive. And if the test is positive, its clear he used it.

He could use all he likes, as long as the test is not positive. See how easy this is?
