Lets not be too dramatic here. They still have arguably the best two Marathoners Male and Female in the US, two of the top 2 distance runners in the World in Hassan/Kejelcha, the top Japanese Marathoner in the Word in osako, and 3 young studs in Murphy, Engels and Brazier.

The real story here is that Centro gave an exclusive to the Jos. After their history of going after Nike and NOP this is a huge F You to that entire organization.

This is news because he’s now officially leaving and in a few days time will be officially joining a rival group. That’s why.

Despite living in DC and training with his dad, he was still associated with them. Not no more.

Matt Centrowitz is cagey and talented.

It will be very interesting to see how the next 3-year championship cycle plays out for him. It would be foolish to count him out.

I don't care who he is coached by he is a drug cheat. His accomplishments are not from talent but from cheating. He's as clean as his pig of a father.

could it be that nike athletes realize the money they are paid come on the backs of asian slave labor, mothers and young women struggling to support their families?

It's definitely a story.

There is an obvious difference between training with another base while representing NOP (as all of Farah, Ritz and Centro did for a time) and saying in effect 'I don't want to wear that thing and I am willing to give up money to get it off my chest.'
