Mathew Kipkoech Kisorio: tested positive for steroids at the 2012 Kenyan Athletics Championships and admitted his drug use, claiming that medical staff in Kenya had promoted a system of doping to athletes.

Sadik Mikhou: On 8 August 2021 International Testing Agency confirmed that Alsadik Mikhou has been provisionally suspended for receiving a blood transfusion during the Tokyo Olympics. This marks his second suspension, as he was suspended in 2018 for 2 years.

Salwa Eid Naser: On 30 June 2021, it was announced that Salwa Eid Naser had been banned until February 2023 due to three whereabouts failures.

Margaret Nyairera Wambui: In 2019, it was revealed that Wambui was born with the 46,XY karyotype and an intersex condition after her qualification for IAAF women's competition was affected by the association's new regulations for athletes with XY disorders of sex development, testosterone levels above 5 nmol/L, and androgen sensitivity.

Don't forget that in 2020 Pineda had one 22 year old Ethiopian athlete drop dead (
Abadi Hadis) and Swedish Eritrean Robel Fsiha get busted for EPO within 48 hours of each other. Any other sport (including cycling) and this guy would be at least subject to a major investigation, even without the links to Jama Aden.
