Just saw on milesplit that Weilbaker committed to Georgetown. Anyone know what happened there?

Lmao, not with his grades. He's a Georgetown man now. Georgetown has gotten the top 3 distance runners in NY this year (Weilbaker, 8:59 3200, 192 speed rating, 25th at NXN; Stokes, 9:05 steeple, 193 speed rating, 22nd at NXN; and Payamps, 4:08 mile and 8:56 3200, mediocre XC tho), plus a couple of studs the last couple years. Seems to be a trend. Too bad for Syracuse and the SUNY schools who have gotten all their top runners from NY for the last decade.
Knight is from NY?

Mathias Powell - Illinois AA xc champ to Villanova
Tim McInerney (CBA's top guy) committed to Georgetown last night. I was a little surprised because I had heard he was between Villanova or a few of the Ivies. It will be interesting to see if he will be able to improve like some of the other recent CBA grads did in college, like Ferro, Gorman, Kelly, Boyle, and Mazz, or if he will be another example of a CBA runner who peaked too soon. Either way he has run some very good races on the track and hopefully he can help a Georgetown program that is struggling a bit right now.
Man, so Georgetown truly loaded up on distance guys. Most likely there of their commits (Payamps, Weilbaker and McInerney) will face off against each other in the Millrose High School Mile
