What are some epic poster battles you remember on this board where one poster went after another....back and forth......back and forth......totally dominating a thread?
Ex. mayeroff vs. just about anyone else
or Bubba vs. winner on that deer meat thread.

Well, this is not any one person, but the Republican vs. Democrat thread got way out of control. This thread contained many individual battles within "the war."
Brutal vs. that College kid from Georgia. That was a slug fest. I think it was supposed to end in a duel at Peachtree, but those plans never came to fruition.
Bummed to have missed the Brutal vs ? dispute. Another dispute that has reared its head from time to time is Malmo vs. FrankS (both say the other is crazy).
Other memorable characters/stances...
Knower vs Mr. Bush & Joe Black (When is it appropriate to say your PR is under 15)
Dunes Runner vs all Paula backers (could Ygorova's detractor be a drug cheat?)
Doc vs Curious & EMack (did Doc not do all he could)

Ah Come to Help vs the HS system supporters (HS system sucks compared to Mark Turner who likes 'em young)

I heard there was some good stuff on the old TnFmedia sight... before my time, though.
actually the hagler leonard fight while notable was not an epic battle.
Leonard v Hearns was a great fight.
Hagler v Hearns was one of the best couple rounds of fighting ever.
malmo brutal was an all night slugfest(tnf media days I think) that rivals any one day or on going skirmish that I have witnessed.
malmo dug deep for a endleess barrage of head and body blows not matched before or since.
Brutal went on to many future board battling great moments as a gallant warrior winning many a battle with mere intimidation. Since the malmo war I have yet to see Brutal emerge with anything short of victory.
Hagler did win the Hagler/Leonard fight. He was robbed.
Joe Black vs. Brutal vs. The Big Dog (or was that tnf media?)
Nothing beats malmo vs. Frank. LetsRun, hillrunner, merv, RWOL.....It went on for months and months, and the world was not a better place.

No it was Big Dog vs. D1Runner (the guy from Georgia, I think he ran for clemson though) It was supposed to end in a battle at peach tree, but it turned out that D1Runner was pretty good and would have killed the Big Dog, who was an out of shape lawyer.
Yeah I was mixing up the two greatest fights: malmo vs Brutal, and a distant second Big Dog vs. D1Runner. D1Runner had a potty mouth yet to be equaled. I think that was the last time Brutal was on these boards, was it not? I've seen him post a few times on other sites though...
So let me get this straight... Malmo has been in two of the most epic running online struggles. Why nothing lately (like in the last 1.5-2 years)?
C'mon Malmo lets see some action... it'll be fun!

Lastly, wouldn't it be nice since we've listed off a few of the participants of these battles to have a virtual reunion? Let's see who all is still standing.
I agree with Larry Merchant, Hagler did win that fight. Also, the "Hit Man" was winning against Sugar Ray until he got tagged on the 14th. The best was definitely Hearns against Hagler.
