I was watching the video of the 4x100m in beijing, and I noticed that Bolt and Powell have Times New Roman text on their bibs, but the other racers don't. In fact, I haven't been able to find this in any of the other T&F events. Has anyone explained how this happened?

In heat 2, we see that Asafa has the standard bib:

I will continue to get visual confirmation on each of these bibs in the relay
so it turns out that all four members of Team USA in the 4x100 had these thin text bibs

notice that team USA in the 4x400 had the normal text bibs however
i have emailed the USATF, the JAAA, and Lance Brauman to inquire about the matter. I will report back with their responses.
unfortunately none of the involved parties have responded to me. I will continue to pursue this investigation using alternative methods
i have put out an open invitation to a race official to answer these questions
