This is equivalent to a 2:03 debut in faster courses.
Who is this athlete Saina Kipkemboi? If you know the circuit, you could figure that this 2:05:20 it's equivalent to a 2:03low in Berlin.
70% humidity
70° F since 5k
Hills similar to New York
Running alone after 25k (when he dropped Marius Kipserem and Barnabas Kiptum)
There's no IAAF profile for Kipkemboi.
This is also, the all-time fastest Marathon in South American soil.
I saw the live Broadcast. This kid is going to break 2:02. No kidding.
Flash news! Saina Kipkemboi 2:05:20 debut! Running alone the last 17km, heat, humidity and hilly circuit in Buenos Aires!

Ran a 1.02 2d place in Berkane Half 1st of April.

It appears there has been a group of East African dopers training together for YEARS at this point and not racing, they are slowly emerging from their cave after a number of years of doping without being part of any kind of testing pool. I'm not even shocked.

Russia in Kenya out- every Kenyan performance is now suspect.
That said, I think Kipchoge is clean, heś been around and I´ḿ sure he´s been tested outside of Kenya.
But these ünknowns? Suspect -
1:02 in April? Wow. He demolished a big hill in the 39k...certainly, he's 2:01 material. Nobody expected a sub 2:08 in this course. Let alone 2:05 low. Athletes are arguing in the finish line about the strong headwind from 30k to the finish.

Ummmmm...ever hear of Guye Adole?
One and done. -
Seems to be managed by Rosas which explains everything.
-
How do you know that he's done? He ran 1 hour flat in Houston this year. After that he was injured. Last week he ran 1:04 but he will be fine

You just answered your own question. Besides, he's well beyond his stated age to begin with. -
They don't even care to hide it anymore...they are grabbing the cash now while they still can.

To all Kenyan athletes: Please stop running to the best of your abilities as it invites a litany of accusations. Also, make an effort to collapse in a heap at finish lines because anything less is not a good look.

Anyone knowledgeable in the pharmaceutical industry? If so, can you let us know what the new hot sauce is? Recently (7:28 3k, 12:43 5k, a teenager running 3:31, 26:44 road 10k, crazy number of sub 60 min half marathons , sub 2:06 marathons are common) it feels like the 90s again. Whatever the new innovation is, it works.

Did you even watch that Coevett?

I read that they mismarked the course, and it was actually about 41.1 km. Still a good effort, but not a world beater.

No. This course was certificated by IAAF. In fact, it's IAAF Bronze Label Road Race in the world calendar.

Also, the race was oficially the South American Marathon Championship.
And the Winner was Cristian Pacheco from Peru with 2:11
Second was Derlis Ayala from Paraguay with 2:13
Moreover, if you look again, the Kenyan debutant wasn't running the tangents. -

As long as is not Western countries being suspected. -
