Nike stock at all time high. Nike would like to thank Donnie and his followers.
Oral Roberts and Bob Jones must be next in line

In fact, CofO and TMcCU belong toNAIA (the former being a frequent basketball champion in div II).
Wait, there's actually a lower division within NAIA?!! What in the name of eroding standards...
Is it not ok for these universities to have an opinion as well, or is it just liberals with an agenda that are allowed an opinion?

So, how?
What racial stereotypes are they promoting?
The stereotype that white cops are hunting down young black men. Black cops account for 10% of all police shootings and comprise 12% of police forces (so they fire their guns about as often as their white coworkers). 78% of victims of black cops are black, whereas 46% of victims of white cops are black (this is more likely a factor of police in predominantly white neighborhoods have a greater likelihood of being white and vice-versa than any trend).

How are they fueling a victim mentality? Which victim mentality is it?
That they are being profiled unjustly by the police. If you look at the statistics on police shootings by race and compare them with other violent crime, weapons violations and murder, they follow a similar trend. On a per capita basis, blacks are 6 times more likely to commit murder and about 3 times more likely to commit weapons violations and other violent crimes. Yet they are shot police by police only about 2.4 times more than whites on a per capita basis. There are a small number of exceptions (for blacks as well as whites), but the overall trends are not out of line with what one might expect given the other crime stats.

The root source of these problems is the high rate of illegitimacy (about 75%). When dad isn't around / involved, young men are much more likely to be taken advantage of by drug lords who give them drugs, girls, guns and status at a young age, as they can avoid serious criminal prosecution while they are under 18 and are easily influenced as they do not appreciate the risks they are taking (this is the same technique used by drug cartels in Mexico when recruiting and forming their sicarios and why you are allowed to join the military at 18 but not drink until 21). It is easier to deflect the blame from the root source of the problem onto the police than to shine the light on the root cause of the problem, which is the exact definition of a victim mentality.
They certainly can have an opinion and no one would disagree. However, the fact that others make it seem like these institutions of higher learning mentioned are creating a financial problem for Nike is pretty funny and worthy of ridicule.

It's nothing more than 13th grade.
This guy was running 49 second 400s. His division was also 3A, in a state with 7 divisions (7A being the highest). Not exactly some track phenom dude.
These colleges cutting ties for partisan bs reasoning isn't indicative of anything. These colleges are fundamentalist evangelical private colleges who are not notable in anyway whatsoever. This would be news if it was some D1 school who was trying to go on some path of apolitical nonsense. These schools are made up of Trump supporting rednecks who have no understanding of the issues that NFL players are protesting for and somehow believe that Kaepernick, taking advice from a marine on what protest to do, is disrespectful to military veterans who fought for free speech (obviously an NFL game is a private event but I'm discussing the principle of it). What's even more ignorant is the same soldiers who actually believe these things and can't contemplate the fact that they think they're fighting for "freedom" while being against Kaepernick's freedom to speak out about police violence and systemic racism.
That was a great exercise in whataboutism. Also very good job on citing infowars, that's a very credible source right there.
Texas Farm Bureau and Mississippi public safety dept has banned wearing nike to work. Meanwhile NKE is trading at over $85 a share. 52 week high.
Additionally, it should be emphasized that Nike is an ATHLETIC shoes and apparel company.
.....Just like Trump himself, the demographic of these Nike boycotters is as far from the definition of "athletic" as possible.
Nike would probably prefer such "programs" not wear Nike gear.
