Could it be that Alberto Salazar prioritizes Rupp over Hasay, and Salazar would rather stay with Rupp than go to Copenhagen with Hasay, so Hasay figured (or was told by Salazar) that without Salazar there that she wouldn't have much support?
This feels more like a Salazar issue than a Hasay issue. It's just baseless speculation by me though.

Nice catch! I checked her Instagram, and as you say, she has definitely cut back recently recently.
And in any of the recent pics, no Zoom or VaporFlys. I don't think it was a stress facture at Boston but another PF flare-up from those shoes.
