To put this in perspective for you, realize 17-year old Jakob Ingebrigtesen closed a sub 13:17 race nearly as fast as Mead ran in a 14:00 race (54.09 for Jakob).

This was Justyn Knight’s pro debut yet he didn’t wear any article of Reebok clothing. Sure, Canada is sponsored by Nike so he has to wear the Canada kit. But he also wore Zoom Victory spikes with tape over the swooshes.
What happened to Justyn’s Reebok spikes he was posting pictures of yesterday? Not a good look if your sponsor cannot provide you with apparel and shoes for your first professional race... -

75,000 loonies a year for 3 years?
that's 50,000 US$ -
Do you really think that people are going to spend $150,000 on reebok gear over the next 3 years specifically because knight runs in reebok? Athletics is nothing more than a charity case.

Well I'm gonna buy some RBK since JK reps them and JK is the man. Definitely shoes (casual shoes) with a shirt that has a nice big logo. Maybe a hat if I can find one. -

No but like the billboard on 5th and Main he has become part of the global corporate identity advertising program that drives sales.
