I believe Ethiopia fielded Selomon Barega and Edris and Kejelcha? Many thought Zakayo's win in the under 20 world champs was a fluke. But twice in row surely doesn't look on the Ethiopia's best and heirs to the throne of Kenenisa Bekele.

I can’t sense any Pure Hate in him, only Love.
?
Funny you say that because the kid is extremely likeable and easy to talk to. I felt really bad for him when haters here and elsewhere (including charm school dropout Zane Robertson) started, without basis, accusing him of age cheating.

He's balding. So either he's an age cheat or he's on the roids.
New World Under-20 Championships 5,000m champion Edward Zakayo on Sunday added the the African title to his medal collection with victory in the 21st African Athletics Championships at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
In Javelin, Kenya's Julius Yego silenced his critics with a third African gold medal in his specialty in Asaba, Delta State.
Yego, Olympic silver medallist and former world champion, reclaimed his javelin title with a second round throw of 77.34 metres with South Africa’s Philmar van Rensenburg (76.57m) taking silver and Nigeria’s Kure Adams (75.69) bronze.

Your countrymen have a long and storied history of doping and age-cheating. Just the facts brah.
No reason to assume this "kid" is legit. I'd guess he's 26-years-old loaded to the dorsals by an Italian coach.
Ban Kenya.

You sir, are an asshole.

1. No Ethiopia didn't field a team like that at all. Yes, Barega was there but since he didn't medal at World Jrs I think it's not a hock to learn he didn't medal here. Their other team members were 2. Getaneh Molla Tamire, ETH 13:49.06 Silver
9. Haymanot Alew, ETH 14:00.67
2. As for him being an age cheat, I guess he could be 16 as I mean look at Ingebrigtsen he's a teen phenom but I was on his facebook page and he referred to being in Form 7 in 2013. Most form 7 students are 12 I believe so yo'ud think he'd be 17.
I would imagine like CHeserek and most Kenyans he's at least a year older than he says he is but who knows.
It's good to see a good Kenyan in the 5000 as they have been trash of late and he seems to have a good personality as well.

Think he's referring to his participation in the U-20's a couple of weeks ago, though I don't want to speak for him.
Comes across as a nice kid, hopefully he can keep on the straight and narrow and avoid the temptation of PEDs and doling out tea money.
"I really want to continue winning and secure a good manager and contract to show my mother that sports, too, can pay our bills," said Zakayo, adding that he would use proceeds from athletics to pay his school fee at Kapsait.
"I want to lift my mother from poverty as well as fund for my own education," explained Zakayo, who wants to study sports science.
"I want to be the Rudisha in 5,000m and 10,000m. Just like Rudisha, I want to win both the 10,000m and 5,000m world and Olympic titles in future," said the 17-year-old Zakayo."

I mean... I started balding and growing a full biker beard at 13. And I’m not an age cheat or on the roids. And I know many other who were balder than him by the age of 18. They too were not on the roids or age cheats.

Does anyone know what Rojo is talking about here? I mean, yes, Jakob Ingebrigsten is 17.

.
I knew one boy at my school who lost his hair at 18 I think, but that was due to traumatic stress. And he wasn't winning world junior nd senior African championships at '16'.and talking about how he needed to bring his mother out of poverty. Nor did he have a craniofacial appearance consistant with heavy hgh usage during puberty. Nor did he come from a country with 60 athletics failed tests in 5 years, including four medalists in the last 8 weeks alone. But hey it's ok because you went to Eight Mile Island High, and everybody in your class was bald by 14.

Better you. I started going grey in my 20s. I'm Kenyan, by the way, and I know the exact date and time (to the minute) I was born.
Time will tell, same as all young juniors. wrote:

The impact David Rudisha has had on his tribe, the Maasai, is mind-boggling. We haven't had a Maasai runner of note since the Konchellahs then Rudisha wins the Olympics and BOOM ? they start popping out like mad. Kishoiyan, the Manangoi brothers, Wycliffe Kinyamal, Kumari Taki, Edward Zakayo, Solomon Lekuta ... and it's not over as quite a few of Kenya's most promising juniors appear to be Maasai. Not a single woman, though.
