Anyone recall a faster last 400m in a women's 1500/3k/5k than Houlihan's 57.67?
I vaguely recall one or more of the Chinese women from Ma's Army back in the 1990s running their last laps in the 57s, but don't recall anyone else.
And she held back her final gear until the last 100m when her form looked as good as any sprinters'.

That was the FIRST lap of Qu Yunzia's world record. Don't remember the split, but I think it was 57-low.
But not a last lap, and in any case, that was a highly questionable run in several ways.
Has anyone even closed an 800 this fast? -
The only possible one would be Big Chuck.

Soooo, what time did Dibaba close in the last 400 of those races? Read all kinds of assumptions in there but no concrete time. -
That Dibaba performance is the most doped thing ever seen in track and field. Unreal.

It looks like rojo had her at splits of 57.47/59.45. -

Just a coincidence that she was coached by Aden at the time...training in Sabadell...the same location that mo Farah was caught lying about... -
Drugged up more than Flo Jo.

Do you think Houlihan is doping to run this fast?
-
Doping or not....
The reason for her kick is that she was more aerobic than the others the previous 3 laps.
Most pro miler women can run about a 55 fresh. They're usually too crapped out by lap 4 to lay down anything close to that. -

More to it than aerobic fitness but that's part of it. Most pro women milers don't have her turnover and power. Could be able to tolerate lactate and maintain power better than others as well.
