In Montreuil
He was already the national 200m record holder (20.16) and I believe was fourth at world indoors in the 60n

Good race, will be motivation for Su to reclaim his old record.
I think Su is racing in Paris? I think he has the potential to go sub 9.9
9.97 vs 9.99...
Makes me sad for Asian athletics
:(

Best Chinese sprint mark 110 Yiang 12.88 equivalent would be like a 9.88 100
Ugh, you have to use an equivalence comparison. Even the best asian equivalent sprinter can't outshine Christian Coleman's 9.82...

9.82? Big deal. Su will probably run a 9.7 this year. Coleman, as most black sprinters, will be busted for doping. His time will be meaningless.
I got news for you the latest designer PED drugs all come out of Chinese factories. It's not shocking to think that their national team athletes aren't using them.....

Black sprinters were dominant well before the introduaction of doping into athletics.
No they were not. They were barely heard of in the 50s and 60s
Is Rana Reider coaching the Chinese sprinters?
Where is Montreuil?

You're funny. Have you heard of Jesse Owens? I've heard he was a decent sprinter and jumper. He broke four world records in less than an hour in 1935 at an Ohio State dual meet. He was around in the 30s. Ralph Metcalf, Eulace Peacock, and Mack Robinson were also great black sprinters in the 30s. Harrison Dillard won Olympic golds in 48 (100m) and 52 (110 hurdles). Barney Ewell, also black, won silver in the 100 and 200 Olys.
The Jamaican Herb McKenley took home a bunch of Olympic medals in 48 and 52 and at one time set the world record in the 400. Arthur Wint, also Jamaican, won gold in the 400 in 48 and silver in the 800 in 52.
In the 60s, Bob Hayes and Jimmie Hines won Olympic gold in the 100 in 64 and 68, both setting world records in the process. A black Cuban finished second to Hayes in 64. Tommie Smith and John Carlos won gold (another world record) and bronze in the 200 in 68. Lee Evans also set a world record in the 400 in the same meet.
Anyway, you're trolling. Stop trolling.
It goes even further back than that. Tolan, who won the 100 in 32, was black. Metcalf won silver in that race. In 28 John London of U.K. won silver, was black. Harry Edward won bronze for U.K. in 20 and was also black. This was when very few blacks even had access to athletic competition, not to mention being less than 5% of the U.K. population and less than 20% of the U.S. pop.
But that guy thinks black sprinters only came around in the 80s, LOL!

Doping in athletics is as old as athletics. There has always been doping.

So, this logic would also apply to the white sprinters of the pre-steroid era (which was also prior to the Great Migration, which brought blacks out of the South and into areas where they would be able to compete athletically), right?
Just checking-- because white people on this site love to fantasize that if not for PEDs, black athletes would not be very good when all evidence is to the contrary.
The fact is that there were many exceptional black sprinters decades before the introduction of steroids. Deal with it. Whatever doping existed before that was of minal effectiveness and white sprinters would have been as likely to engage in it as black athletes. Deal with it.
Whoa!
And Tortu breaks Mennea’s record!
The fact that a 17 year old white kid ran 9.9 with zero wind is much more impressive
