Mac: Yeah. I have feelings every single day of my life.
Dennis: Do you?
Mac: Are you saying you don't have feelings?
Dennis: What I'm saying is a built up a shell.. a shell around myself. A cold, calculated shell that couldn't be broken by anything but marriage.
The funny thing is that I actually have consistently volunteered at homeless shelters. I’ve cooked, cleaned, worked, funded, etc. it’s nothing special but it’s more than nothing.
Libs tend to think they have helped people by “feeling”or posting something on social media. They feel especially helpful if they post angry things about conservatives.
That, in a nutshell, is the difference between the ideologies.
Many liberal people spend substantially more time improving their community than you do. You’re incredibly biased to claim thay liberals only help by “feeling” or posting on social media. What a bizarrely counterproductive attitude to actually make a positive influence. Just because someone thinks differently than you doesn’t mean they’re not making a positive impact on their community.
I'm liberal and I (and my family) volunteer each month at a local food bank. It's not about liberals, conservatives, or me (us) in any respect. It's about some people in our community that could (and do) benefit from our help. It's about them. I know some have a hard time not thinking about themselves, but it's about them for once.
