3:52 for a solid 4th place at Pre, is this kid going to be the goat? Absolutely waxed centro, Murphy, etc

352 ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
3:52 at age 17? That's unreal!

I tweeted out about it and Webb has responded:
Incredible run for 4th. Beats Centro and all the rest.
17 years old. Almost kicked down manangoi!
Wow. 3:52 low to finish 4th in the Bowerman Mile... Holy cow. Did anyone catch a last lap split for him? He closed very very well. What can this kid not do?
Lol. He lost...
I underestimated him. I really thought he’d be overmatched here, but he was more than ready.
lol, might as well add this to the five threads created within the same minute
Jakob Ingebrigtsen just came home in fourth in the Bowerman Mile in 3:52.28 more than a full second faster than Alan Webb's 3:53.43 in the Bowerman Mile his senior year. Alan had turned 18 in January that year. Jakob will be 18 in September. WOW.
He’s 17 and held his own against the world’s best. I’d say 4th is pretty solid. What place would you have gotten at 17?
Over a full second faster AND eight months younger. Crazy.
Jakob Ingebrigtsen just ran 3:52 at Pre, barely getting edged out by last years world champion in the final meters. He is 17 and seems to have a big upside. Could he be a factor to win in Doha next year or Tokyo in 2020?
He breaks Graham Williamson's European junior mile record of 3:53.15, which has stood since 1979.
This kid has been taking some serious scalps lately. However, how much more upside could there be left for him? He certainly handles pressure very well.

I just merged like 8 threads on this topic. How could they barely mention it on the tv broadcast? Crazy. TV should be about storytelling. How dot they not tell that story?

Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?

Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
