Does anyone know how to get a copy of Joe Vigil's Road To The Top? It's ridiculously expensive on Amazon. Is it out of print?

I believe I remeber in a podcast somewhat recently he did where he said that he still sells them out of his garage. Send him an email and he will ship it to you.
Got it for
If you don't mind me asking, what is Joe Vigil's email? I'd buy a copy in a hot minute.
He definitely still sells them. I bought a copy from him at a clinic a few years ago. The ones he sells are signed by him. Not sure how to get ahold of him though.
I thought he was dead.
There is a ton of good information in the book, and sometimes when I read some of his stuff, I’m just hit with a “wow that’s genius”. Just really simple stuff that feels so intuitive that you didn’t think of before.
However, the book is tough as hell to read. You can’t open it and expect to find a fully fleshed out training plan. You need some spread sheets or graph paper while you read it if you are trying to make a season plan, and do it yourself through the information you find.
He sells them himself iirc, just find a way to contact him like the people here are saying. Met him at a conference like 4 years ago. He’s the real deal and then some.
I purchased it off of running warehouse or first to the finish for
You can get them from runningwarehouse.com for about $30
I remember when it came out, I glanced at it, didn't understand it, and since I wasn't making any money, I didn't buy it. Now I sure wish I had bought it back then!
I have the book and have read it several times, but have a hard, hard time making sense of it. It seems all over the place, with nuggets of wisdom throughout.
I'd love a cohesive summary of its main points by event, because as you said, it's hard as hell to wrap your head around.

Definitely agree with that synopsis of the book, read it multiple times thinking each time I had missed something to apply. Went to one of Vigil's clinics and I found his presentation and slides to be helpful. He went in depth on his training philosophy particularly tapering (linear vs non- linear, volume, frequency, intensity, etc). He was also signing autographed copies so I picked one up.
He will be at North Central College, Naperville IL in June for a clinic with Christensen if you happen to live in the area. Clinic is sold out but I'm sure he would sell you his book. Definitely still worth having but for me, I would rank it below Daniel's Running Formula and Magness Science of Running.
$40. Cheapest price for Road to the Top I have seen.
