Then why did you ask?
I have it on good authority that John studied volleyball at the South Harmon Institute of Technology.
I played football at Ohio State. Keep up, brah.
No, M.A. students aren't usually supported, while Ph.D. students usually are through work. The top targets get fellowships that do not require working for others.
You do realize graduate assistants are the higher education equivalent of Chinese sweatshop workers? They are cheap labor for universities who could not function without them. They don't have to pay competitive salaries, benefits or pensions for them as they would if their work was done by professors.
You are a silly boy. You do realise the work and effort required to do a PHD. You need a lot of brains, and it is very demanding. Do you expect us to starve. Our research contributes so much to society. When I was doing my PHD in Oxford, I thought I wasn't getting paid enough. We don't evan get that much money, and it certainly isn't something we do for money. At one stage I would pick 1p coins of the pavement(1p is a pence- English currency). I couldn't imagine what it would be like if the uni didn't pay me at all. Why don't you try completing a PHD in Literature Science like me(or anything you want). Let's see how you survive without money.

Does biology count as STEM, or should I pay my money back? Did MS and PhD. in life science studying non-human animals. I don't believe in god either.
What is the S in stem?

I did my Phd in Denmark (between 2001 and 2005), and was getting paid roughly 60K per year before tax. I finished and got a job at 65K :-)
Hang on a minute, Denmark is the highest taxed country in the world. Your 60k pre tax is really 28k post tax. It is all one gigantic illusion.

I'm not the best speller on here but surely you're trolling us this time Banana Bread.
The Spencer Foundation gave me 40K/yr to get a PhD in statistics 15 years ago, with no strings attached. I had so much free time that I had a 100K job on the side. I saved more in grad school than I have in all the years since.
No public funds. Public service career.

Never know with you black and whiters--I mean biology includes evolution and ecology so just checking if superstar intellects like you would acknowledge that evolution is valid science.
Do you make everything political?
There's nothing political about evolution and ecology.

Everything is political. Without the political freedom to discuss that, you'd be lynched like a witch in the Salem Witch Trials.
