It's a well-kept secret, but cell phones can be turned off. Trust me, they can.
I own a cell phone but it is turned off 99% of the time. Honest, the world doesn't end if you access the Internet only from your computer, not from your phone.
That doesn't help those of use who ditched land lines and still talk to people on the phone.
This needs to be fixed legislatively. I'm OK with law enforcement getting this data with a warrant, but not with scumbag companies like Securus selling our location data with just a checkbox checked that the one interested has "received authorization".
