Blood doping was banned in 1985 not 1986.
UK Athletics were randomly testing their athletes, out of competition and out of season, from the early 1980’s, many years before the IAAF introduced it for the world’s leading elites in 1989.

When is the test from? Did Centro just become the 2013 World Champion?
Nabbing my spot on the first page of an epic thread.
This makes Centro's win somehow even better. Damn.
Suck it Kiprop.

Well clearly Kiprop isn't a truly elite Kenyan because we all known EPO doesn't work on them.
an elite kenian is elite without doping. so by definition he cant be elite and doping works on him
It has yet to be denied or confirmed. Same thing with Jebet, and the same type of reporting.
I WANT BOLD TYPE of CONFIRMATION.
Enough is enough.

Rosa is the agent who also managed Jeptoo...
A Kenyan doping.. I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you!! (clutches pearls)
Why is this still a mystery?

All courtesy of the Rosas.
really? Rosa tied them to a post and injected them with EPO and told if they'd talk to anyone, he'll go after their families????
Bullshit. They're all in it. The athletes more so because nobody forces them.
Got to say he always had a very strange style of racing.
The thing with habitual dopers is they get so cocky with their "Magical Powers" that they can't seem to resist toying with their competition in big races. Ramzi did this in 2008, and Kiprop did it in 2015:

What makes Kiprop especially egregious is that he lost to Ramzi while doing the same thing.
No.
It was out of competition and would only reflect his most recent competition. It would not cover 2013.
come on, guy!

Asbel has not been convicted yet, so people should not draw hasty conclusions.
Something else, he has been tested zillions of times, so it is surprising that this has come up in the twilight of his career.
Irrefutable evidence before conviction is needed., for popular Asbel Kiprop, generally well liked by all, aside from that bizarre nightclub incident two years ago, when he pulled a gun on a security guard who asked normally affable Asbel to leave a nightclub after hours. This occured in Eldoret, near the White Castle hotel.
On another note, we see the Bahraini/Moroccan - Mikhou, in one of the pics. What happened to him ? Short career at the top, that guy. I guess El K. will have the answer to the two questions, above.
Unless you take ALL of their fortune away it's going to keep happening. Heck, even if you do that it's going to keep happening.
The Rosa's should be doing SERIOUS jail time if not worse.

But why just that stable?
This doping stuff is really demoralizing. Dopers have completely destroyed training theory for the rest of us at the amateur level. And who knows., if the performance curve weren't so far ahead of us, maybe we'd actually think we had a chance to race at the top and we would train/perform better.

I am truly devastated. I genuinely admired this guy.
Admired him? It’s common knowledge that he has drunkenly assaulted people in the past while brandishing a gun. Not exactly a Kipchoge-style monk.
