Ran 48.3 in only his 3rd race EVER in the event last year.
Just ran 47.90 PR and WL in South Africa as a season OPENER last week.
Whoever said that Warholm is gonna break the WR this season is clearly on the wrong target.

You forgetting someone?
Kyron McMaster ran 47.80 last year, as well as 48.07 and 48.12.
He's also younger than Warholm and Samba
but none of these guys are touching any WRs anytime soon, not unless the IAAF changes some rules
SA is Jamaica 2008, and all that entails.
That’s a damn good time
Grant Holloway is still gonna be the one to break the record
After he breaks Aries Merritt’s

Right on the money, mon.

The most likely explanations are:
1. South Africa's athletics development system has finally caught up with the insane level of talent in the country.
2. There is some special sauce making the rounds around the country.
If the athletes cannot re-produce these performances outside the country, I am leaning towards #2.
guaranteed that his pr will stay at 47.90

He was only in South Africa for the meet.
Samba competes for Qatar, but was born in Mauritania. He moved to Doha to attend the Aspire Acadamy. Transfers of allegiance suck, but I doubt he had many opportunities for development in Mauritania.

guaranteed youre an idiot.
47.57 in Doha.
Fastest in the world since 2010.
So genius how many OOC testing that genetic superior human being had? Who made it?
Just wander who is idiot here.

Maybe the person who uses “wander” instead of “wonder”? Or who has written a first sentence that is barely comprehensible?
To everyone that missed it, seeing as lots of people on this site don't actually watch athletics at all, Samba ran 47.57 in Doha.
Unbelievable time.
I don't like going there just because of great performances, because great performances are what we want to see. With that said, there are way too many SA athletes who have made sudden major improvements not to be suspicious. This is very remanence of Jamaica in 2008; I am calling this one a duck.

Think that's all we need to know.

That is true. The current WR is one of the best examples of how PED use can improve performance. The OP seems to have some kind of hate for Warholm. Hope that isn't racism.

The only racism is the disproportionate publicity Warholm gets for that one win that he's unlikely to repeat.

Yup. With a comment like that, cant get any more racist.

That's not really fair. It's not like Jakob Ingerbritsen. Warholm ran well all season then became world champion!
Reid Buchanan and Des Linden rip Eliud Kipchoge on twitter - "Give me a break"
Am I the only one that thinks Nuguse AR is as suspect as the women's marathon WR?
Oh the irony. What if it turns out the new $500 adidas shoe is just way better than Nike's?
How to tell my athlete he did "meh" when he thinks he did great
