No he won’t.
If he does he dies. Hard.
What a loser post.
He did in 2014. And he didn't die.
No, he didn't go out with the leaders in 2014. It was just him and two pacers. Maybe you're misremembering?
Brojos, did you see Alberto Salazar in London yet? Ask him about what happened to Galen.
Wouldn't it be hilarious if all the elites just ran slow and Farah won in his usual sit and kick fashion
" “If that’s what the guys are doing, why not?” Farah said. "
Well said Mo, but still the idiots on LR aren't happy.
I hope Mohamed DNFs.
It's going to be tough to call. Weather look like Mid 60's, way too hot for a legit WR attempt. I hope they don't go out in 61 first half or they'll all blow out badly.
WR is 2h02'57"
He has 2h08'
He will do something like 2h05'30- 2h06'
Fresh off the plane from 3 months in Ethiopia
I guess that's what it takes now to 'prepare'

Well, at least some of the idiots on LR would answer his question with "Why not? Well, maybe for the same reason you didn't last time you ran London. What's changed this time?"

Steve was wrong about Mo, but at least his teeth are great!
Hey Stevo, what about Kenenisa Bekele? World Record Holder in the 5k and 10k. Second fastest man ever in the Marathon.

I can't wait to see Bekele's world record. I get bullied here, some of it is down to ignorant people disagreeing with Bekele been the best. I will have such a laugh on Sunday. I can't wait to come here and milk his victory. Every one who ever disagreed with me will suddenly go quiet. I will be creating my own virtual party thread on letsrun, to celebrate Bekele. It is going to be huge, bigly. Do people realise that he came third in London 2 years ago, then 2nd last year, so 1st is the next logical step. London is the race where he gives it all, but he had reasons for not winning before. Coming 3rd with no training, and 2nd with blistered foots.
bekele is done.he cant run fast marathon anymore
His warm up in Calcutta tells me differently. Adjusted for weather, the turns, crowd, and lack of pacers, he would have run 25k at sub 2 hour pace. he is definitely able to run 2:02 in London.

Mo is lying. He is not good enough to set a WR.
at whatever distance!
I hope that the great Steve Jones keep his british record as well.

the only one thinking otherwise is the Banana boy.
Bekele is NOT a drug cheat.

You're obviously one of the LR idiots to ask a question like that, what's changed is that he's retired from track and has been specifically training for the marathon, if you knew anything about distance running you'd know this. Accordingly, he's more than entitled to say "If that’s what the guys are doing, why not?” when referring to going out at WR pace, as he's a genuine contender, only a LR idiot would think otherwise.

He better go out at WR pace if he wants any shot of winning. Why even show up if you're not going to compete?
I Agree, seems Mo does too.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
