Rupp was not discovered by AlSal at age 13.
Coached by Tinman.
Unfortunately, that does not bode well for a college/post college career.
Who gives a fvck? So what if he is getting at his potential early and "loses" an opportunity to get tied down to a Div I "scholarship". Not a significant loss.
Kid is doing what he wants and is successful doing it.
If college running still exists by the time this kid is old enough to do it I'll eat my hat.
he looks like a young CV!
Ummmmm....who????
This guy's chances of a successful collegiate career, let alone high school career are very minimal, IMO. Outstanding running as a child often correlates very poorly with healthy development.

That being said I don't want to SHITTER his accomplishment, take what you can get. 15:47 is still a pretty goddamn impressive result ,especially as a 13 year old
Does he make $200k+ a year? And does he have a hot GF? Get back to us when he's really doing something with his life.

You really think that NCAA track and field will be gone in 5 years?
Yes. College is a money grab, the NCAA is a slave trade and athletes are waking up to the scam.
He’ll be a freshman next year? He has a solid chance to win a state title in XC in the fall. With the watered down NXN/FL system, he may even make nationals.
Has he ever been tested is the real question you all should be asking.

He shows absolutely no signs of being on anything. If you knew him and his family you would draw the same conclusion. He is not even one of those kids that matured early. He has room for a lot more improvement.

Yes, he only ran 10 seconds slower than K. Tuohy ran last January and she was at least 18 months older than he is now.
