It is 68 and rain, with no wind at all. Not a big deal obviously, plenty of fast times.
-
Bump. That’s crazy, especially for this early. If she doesn’t burn out could we see mid to low 49s?
-
Only Okolo has run faster as a collegiate. After yesterday's 22.39 PR and her 49 leg on the high school relay last year, not a huge surprise, but...Wow this young woman delivers the goods! Could eventually end up taking down Sanya's 48.70 AR. If she did that AND the 400H record that would be monumental.
-
Is she 18 yet so I can a legal comment?
-
I trust that you’re joking about “plenty of fast times.
-
Moves her to #2 all time on both US junior and NCAA list.

Well on her way to mid 49 this year and a world record in the 400mH.

hey now, slow it down. -
Will she run world Jr's (u20)? With no major Sr team to go after why not

Very fast indeed for a 400H specialist.
In the world all time 400H list, only Natalya Antyukh has a faster 400 PB (49.85). It is very possible that Sydney will better Antyukh's best before the end of the year. Who knows, Sydney could also best Okolo's Collegiate record of 49.71. Grit Breuer's world junior best of 49.42 may be a little too fast however (not since 2015 has a woman gone faster than 49.42).
If she does better 49.42 this year (as a junior), why even bother with the 400H. You are simply risking injury. -
Don't want to jinx her but DAMN! Only 18. Likely to be USA's long sprint queen for the future. Has the betting pool started for when she goes pro?

whenever I click on one of these Twitter videos I get a message that says, "The media could not be played," but there is no indication why not.
is it because:
1. there is something wrong with my browser
2. there is something wrong with my computer
3. I do not have a Twitter account
4. I am too handsome to see such stuff
it's probably no. 4, but I would appreciate some guidance here.
thanks. -

49.42 in 1991. That was quick. 49.50 at age 18

Is a 400/400h double possible at NCAAs?
