I've read both Pfitzinger's Faster Road Racing and Daniels Running Formula, but have only followed Daniel's since my time running. I'm obviously biased for DRF since that's the only training I've followed. Has anyone had success on the other side of the fence with Pfitzinger? I actually like his idea of a 12 week build to a goal race vs 18 weeks of Daniels P2-P4. Both are in assumption that you already have a base to start doing workouts off of. Thoughts?
