Tigers are faster and stronger
The Tiger because the Lion is not as much of a Jungle creature. Many tiger subspecies live in Jungles, Lions generally don't.

Tiger - most of the time, the Siberian - no contest.
Obvious answer? The liger. Hybridization removes the growth limitation gene. Ligers grow bigger than tigers. True story.
It's not about the size. The liger being genetically modified and kept in safe environment never developed proper killer instincts and skills. The liger is basically a toy for ZOO shows.
I've been trying to convince women of that for decades. Didn't work there either.
What you see is not what you get - quite often.
It depends on which part of the jungle you're in. Camouflage and ambush are the decisive advantage.
