What’s a good BMI for a female runner between age 18-20? (2 miler -10k runner)
so I have had a fluctuation of BMIs. Right now I am your age group and gender, and I have a BMI of 17.5. I'm running kinda bad. Last year (last indoor) I was around BMI 19 and running my fastest ever. I would say anywhere from 18.5 to 20 would be your best bet. Don't be afraid to be muscular! Your weight can only go so low before you start to lose strength.
Most importantly, don't focus too much on numbers. Eat when you're hungry. Eat after a workout even if you aren't hungry. You will feel it if you need to eat more or less. Your body knows the sweet spot it wants and if you eat intuitively it will naturally go there.
Thanks I’m currently a BMI of 16 and I’m just drained 24/7 . It’s the highest I’ve been in a while but still very very tired
