I qualified for the 2018 NYC Marathon both with 2017 Chicago Marathon and another half marathon. I applied last Monday when Registration opened. Still no word from NYRR for me. Has anyone else received their acceptance to the NYC Marathon using a non-NYRR time qualifier? Should I contact NYRR? Thanks for any info!
I got in last year using a tiny 1/2 marathon in podunk Wisconsin. If you're well under the time standard you should be fine. I did email them last year and got a response right away, so it can't hurt to reach out.

No, not yet. I don't think you need to worry, they say right on the website that it should take at least a couple weeks to verify all the entries.
I actually emailed them back and forth a couple times in late 2017 because I was confused about something. Almost out of the blue, they kindly emailed me at the beginning of 2018 to remind me to check the webpage because the race registration process would open soon. So I submitted my registration and haven't heard back from them, but I'm not worried about it.
Worst case, they make a mistake and put me in the lottery.

I was over 5 minutes under the time standard for Chicago Marathon and over 6 minutes for my half marathon. This should be safe right?
Definitely don’t want to be in the lottery since I qualified.. less than 10% chance with the lottery right? Already missed out on NYC Marathon before due to lottery failure so I trained hard to get qualifying times.
You should be fine. They don't use a cut off system like Boston. If you're under your qualifying time for guaranteed entry you'll get in. Give them time to verify your result.
I just applied tonight. Looking forward to it. Of the 15 marathons that I've done New York is my favorite.
Has anybody actually gotten in yet? I registered on day one, still no word either way. Registration closes tomorrow...
Still waiting myself. Emailed them too. Nothing. How many time qualifiers applied I wonder.
For what it's worth, I wrote them a couple weeks ago. Here's their response:
"Thanks for your email and for your inquiry regarding your application for the 2018 TCS NYC Marathon. We have received your application and it is under review. We have received a high volume of submissions and it is taking longer than expected to verify them all. If your application is accepted you will be entered into the race via our end, and will receive an email confirmation upon acceptance. Please make sure you have a valid credit card on your profile so that we can easily accept you into the event. If you are not accepted you will receive an email from us letting you know that you have been moved to the drawing for a chance to be selected. Please see the link below for more info on our time qualifying standards:

My guess is that they waiting for registration to close, then deliver the news...
I still haven't gotten an email, but the portal online just updated with an "Status:Accepted" message!
