At the end of my tempo run these last few weeks, my heart rate has stopped rising. When I look at the HR graph for the run, I'm experiencing textbook cardiac drift until the last 3ish minutes when it just stops going up. This usually occurs at a HR about 25 bpm below my max HR(Hit 218bpm kicking at the end of a 5k). Because I'm still a ways below my max HR, this has left me quite confused. Anyone have an explanation for this?
